This is a great recipe to make at thanksgiving, I always feel so fancy to make my own cranberry sauce (I am very easily pleased). This can of course be made at any time of year and enjoyed with chicken or pork, or even on crackers with some (goat's cheese). So stock up on cranberries around the holidays and make this all year around, just throw the bag of cranberries in the freezer until you are ready to make this OR make a giant batch and freeze the jam.
1 bag of cranberries
1 cup of sugar (I am all about cutting down on sugar, I have tried this recipe with 1/2 cup and it was a little tart)
1/4 cup of orange juice
As many jalapenos as you can handle!, diced.
Put all the ingredients in an oven proof dish (approx. 9x5) and bake at 350 for about 2 hours until it is cooked down and looks like this:
Yes, really it is that easy!!!
